Randy Manuel- Hawks Landing
- Hawks landing is here at Oakwood to offer training and our experience, whether you are a show ready competitor, an up and coming, or someone who just wants to get a better base and understanding of the Hunter/Jumper style of riding.
- At Hawks our style is open and honest, with a strong emphasis on the horse's natural way of going. We teach you to ride balanced and stay with the horses rhythm. With a solid knowledgeable rider we teach you to achieve desired changes through the application of your body, your voice, and most of all your mind.
- Hawks Landings approach has proven successful at the "A" shows that we regularly attend, resulting in a reputation for putting confident partnership of horse and rider in the ring with many championships along the way.
- Hawks Landing has close to 40 years of riding, 25 years of professional trainer/rider.
Bridget Pickett- Hawks Landing- Assistant Trainer
- Bridget has been the Assistant Trainer at Hawks Landing for two years. She has been involved with horses for eleven years, three of which were working with children with disabilities.
- Bridget instructs all ages with a variety of different skill levels.
Fatima Pawlenko-Kranz
- Fatima will enhance your experience and performance by improving the harmony between you and your horse regardless of your discipline.
- Fatima has more that forty-five years of training experience in Dressage, Jumpers and Eventing. She has trained in the Barrington and Barrington Hills area for twenty-five years with great success, and is proudly a fourth generation equestrian.
- Fatima is a U.S.D.F. "R" Dressage Judge, and is routinely asked to judge nationwide. She is also a U.S.D.F. Silver Medalist.
- F.E.I. School Mater is available for private lessons.
Katie Rose
- Katie graduated from the University of Kentucky and continued to further her equine education in horses. She is experienced with many different disciplines. Her main discipline is Hunters and Jumpers but became very knowledgeable in training and coaching Equitation Riders, Event Riders, Fox Hunters, Pony Club Riders and Pleasure Riders.
- Katie furthered her experience by judging horse shows, coaching Hunter and Equitation National Qualifiers and led B level Pony Club Show Jumping teams to numerous Nationals in which they were very successful!
- As a trainer Katie challenges the horse and rider to excel using training techniques focused on mastering fundamental skills. She builds confident and competitive riders through extensive flat work and jumping exercises.
- Katie has a fun and relaxed training style that prepares riders to succeed at any level.
- Katie advances the expert, intermediate, and beginning rider in the show ring, at home, and on the trail.
